I was invited to Sahara Radio to give an analysis of election season in Nigeria and why I was leaning towards the existing president, Goodluck Jonathan, as opposed to his anointed successor and former head of state, General Muhammadu Buhari.

I wrote a piece about Nigeria’s February 2015 elections that was actually delayed until the following month – March. I examined the past imperfections against the backdrop of my childhood in Nigeria during the turbulent eighties and used it as leverage to support my claim that nothing can ever restore the glory of a lost nation.

I wrote a piece for Medium a few months before the Nigerian girls were kidnapped and Boko Haram was still safely under the radar. I highlighted the ongoing crisis culminating from the violent actions of this deadly sect.
